Thrilled to be bringing my guitar to the National Service Learning Conference!

The National Youth Leadership Conference and Youthrive LIVE!
(regional affiliate of PeaceJam International)
are teaming up for the ultimate Service Learning and Youth Leadership Conference!
Register for the whole thing or, at least,
join us for the open-to-the public plenary session
where I'll be playing my guitar and singing my songs
and, most importantly,
you'll get to here from Shirin Ebadi,
an extraordinary woman, leader and deserving Nobel Laureate.

Read more about her below and at the link provided.
Link to further info and register at the links above!
And I'll send out more reminders and info as needed via facebook and twitter.

Plenary Session and Public Address
4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.
Explore youth service as a force that spans cultural and national boundaries. Don't miss Shirin Ebadi. Ebadi was awarded the 2003 Nobel Peace Prize for her efforts to promote human rights, in particular, the rights of women, children, and political prisoners in Iran. She is the first Muslim woman to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, and only the fifth Muslim to receive a Nobel Prize in any field. Ebadi was one of the first female judges in Iran.

Peace,
