Fun excerpt from LIVE Concert with SOLID!!...

IMG_0456.MOV Watch on Posterous

...some seriously rockin' Nebraska youth who spent the week engaged in service learning all throughout Denver.

During this song, we were also accompanied by booming thunder and the rhythms of rain on the roof. Couldn't have been a more perfect song for the stormy sounds. A great moment.

It was so fabulous to be with SOLID for their week of service-learning and deep faith connection, partnering with various non-profit organizations around Denver, volunteering and learning true-life stories about people who have both served and benefited from agencies like the JeffCo Action Center.

Rock on, SOLID! Much love! Mwah!

Home with You on the road...

Photo

"If we lived in a conversion van RV
Taking music on the road. We'll see the whole country. Through the mountains, down highways to the city streets,
The world our view, we're driving on to live our destiny...

I'd be at home with you, Baby, yeah.
I'd be at home with you, my love. All I need to make this house a home
Is for us to be together.
My home is with you wherever we are...."

Two Wolves

"A Native American grandfather talking to his young grandson tells the boy he has two wolves inside of him struggling with each other. The first is the wolf of peace, love and kindness. The other wolf is fear, greed and hatred. 'Which wolf will win, grandfather?' asks the young boy. 'Whichever one I feed,' is the reply." ~ Native American Proverb
